A treatment plan
just for you

Our process starts with a comprehensive intake.

YOUR JOURNEY. OUR MISSION.

You are a unique individual, and our process starts with a comprehensive intake. We then develop a treatment plan designed just for you. Our clinical foundation is rooted in thousands of years of success of Chinese medicine; we are helping you with almost 20 years of clinical practice and continuing education. We have several modalities to help you on your journey and we do this as elegantly and efficiently as possible.

Our tools

The body, mind, and spirit always work together. Emotional, and spiritual factors are as much a part of the disease process as any physical conditions.. We will provide exceptional natural health care with measurable results.

  • Acupuncture originated in China about 2,500 years ago and is still one of the oldest, and most commonly used systems of healing in the world.

Stimulating an acupuncture point is an energetic “nudge” to the body’s own healing intelligence. Each session sends a targeted message about how the body could function better.

The efficacy of acupuncture speaks for itself through its longevity. The Western world is just beginning to understand how acupuncture works in a way that satisfies the modern, western mind:

Investigations show that connective tissue winds around the needles, increasing electrical conductivity.

Doppler ultrasound shows that acupuncture increases blood flow and circulation.

MRI readings demonstrate that acupuncture makes changes in the brain that we can actually see.

Thermal imaging shows that acupuncture reduces inflammation.

In Terms of What We Do:

Promotes healing, offering a small electrical “nudge” to the body to bring back homeostasis and balance

Improves circulation in the body, which helps the body function more easily where needed

Decreases pain, interrupting pain signals and acting as natural pain relief

Balances body chemistry, influencing the body’s biochemical responses by way of the nervous system

Reduces inflammation, by decreasing pro-inflammatory markers or proteins.

  • When prescribed by a skilled and educated practitioner, Chinese herbs are a safe and natural treatment for many common health conditions.

Chinese herbal medicine is beautifully complex, just like the human body. The solution to a health condition is usually not as simple as “take this herb for that symptom.” Herbs are prescribed in the context of formulas, each formula containing 3 to 15 individual herbs working together..

Formulas are used to alleviate symptoms while simultaneously correcting the root imbalances that led to symptoms. This is what makes herbal medicine unique, and makes it a very common resource in treating so many of our patients at WomanCare Fertility and Wellness.

    Quality Sourcing

The efficacy of an herbal formula depends both on the quality of herbs and the knowledge of the practitioner.. We will always source the highest quality herbs from reputable companies and growers to maintain purity and ensure efficacy. Our herbs are tested to ensure they’re free from contaminants. They do not contain any endangered species and are not tested on animals.

    In-House Dispensary

Our in-office apothecary allows us to mix herbal formulas created just for you, in real time.

    Change Is Good

Your body is always changing and your herbs should too. We will adjust your formulas as needed.

  • Recognizing the Mind-Body connection can help you function at your highest level. Utilizing just 3 simple steps will help you feel healthier, calmer and more empowered around every aspect of your life.

    Step 1: Visualize

Your imagination is a phenomenal tool to “nudge”your body to make endorphins and other feel good ingredients.. What you picture in your mind, your body will manifest physically.

    Step 2: Breathe

Breath is the link between conscious and subconscious. When you know how to control and guide your breathing, you gain complete control over your body.

    Step 3: Meditate

Meditation is so much easier than you think. We teach you simple techniques that calm your body and mind which in turn will refresh your nervous system.

  • Without a doubt, Food is medicine. You will hear this over and over and over in our clinic. Food literally contains the building blocks your body uses every day to maintain, heal, and make more of you. Proper nutrition is a major foundation of any lasting good health. When your cells, glands, and tissues are given the nutrients they need, they will naturally function at a higher level, and you will feel amazing.

In a world filled with fads, trends, and contradictory information, we stand by this brilliant yet simple statement from food writer and researcher, Michael Pollan:

“Eat real food. Not too much. Mostly plants.”

This is the foundation of our clinical approach in treating our patients.. Along with the importance of proper and clean hydration with Water.

Practicing Chinese medicine includes a beautiful understanding of the energy of food, and everyone doesn't need to eat the same way. Your age and unique health history, the season, and your current health imbalances will together determine our dietary recommendations for you. Sometimes this means adding certain foods, sometimes it means removing them; sometimes the change is only temporary, other times it may need to be permanent.

Whatever your optimal dietary needs look like, you will be educated and supported in making the best food choices for your individual body, in your current state of health, with your unique health goals, at this amazing time of your life.

Accountability and Partnership

We are always honest  about what we are and aren’t able to treat, and the amount and types of treatment you can expect for your particular circumstance. We will discuss in detail about the contributing (or detracting) effects of your personal diet and lifestyle choices, and how those choices may impact your healing journey. We will share a partnership. We meet you where you’re at, and we are excited about active participation from all parties.

You are not your symptoms. You are not your diagnosis either.. We don’t treat those — we treat YOU. YOU are a unique human body with a unique pattern of circumstances. Many other people may have the same or similar diagnosis, however, your pattern(s) of imbalance is unique to only you and calls for a response tailored only to you.. One of the most amazing things about Chinese medicine is its ability to identify these sorts of nuances, and treat accordingly. No two PCOS cases, insomnia imbalances, fertility issues, or menopausal patterns are the same.

A Clear Path

We understand the importance of integrated  care in managing many complex issues. We’re  always happy to work with our patients’ other providers to develop a clear and precise plan of treatment.. We will always support you ( and guide you if requested) in making the best health care choices for yourself at any point on your journey—trust your inner guidance that you know what those are.

Our intention is to address your symptoms from their root cause whenever  possible. Focusing on the origination of the imbalance or the  root cause instead of  only managing symptoms is what ultimately enables lasting changes in your health and your life.

Individualized Care

We always provide you with clear and purposeful treatment plans. You will always know where you are on your healing journey, what we’re doing and why, as well as the changes we’re looking for and when we expect to see them. If you have any questions, please always ask.
